WBS Awards Announced
Kyle Pope named WBS Owner of the Year, leading the Dedham Horse Thieves and Williston Wendigos to postseason appearances. the Wendigos also captured the Knickerbocker regular season title.

Blackwater's Babe Ruth and Rivendell's Ty Cobb were both voted Most Valuable Player and Battery of the Year respectively in the Doubleday and Knickerbocker leagues. Ruth posted a .316 average, slugging 53 doubles, 11 triples, and 31 homers, scoring 127 runs, and driving in 120. Ruth also posted strong pitching numbers, going 13-9 with a 3.86 ERA. Cobb led all batters with a .404 average and 257 hits; he also slugged 43 doubles and 13 triples, scored 116 runs and swiped 56 bases.

Pitcher of the Year honors go to New Orleans' Pete Alexander and Williston's Urban Shocker. Alexander finished 26-7 with a 2.00 ERA, 8 shutouts, and 173 strikeouts. Schocker led the Wendigos to the top of the Knickerbocker league, going 21-8 with a 2.14 ERA, 25 complete games, and 5 shutouts.

Dedham catcher Verne Clemons and Georgetown pitcher Dickie Kerr were voted Rookie of the Year. Clemons batted .290 with 27 doubles, 5 triples, 7 homeruns, 75 runs scored, and 45 RBIs. Kerr pitched well for the Giants, finishing 12-11 with a 3.35 ERA in 249.2 innings, with 2 shutouts.
